Dr. Jason Guy Richards
Dr. Jason Guy Richards is an Oregon-licensed, clinical psychologist and co-director of the Bend Anxiety Clinic.
Dr. Richards is an expert in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and exposure therapies treating the full spectrum of anxiety and related disorders. He provides both community-based and in-home treatment as needed. His experience
includes behavioral health interventions/consultations in primary care. Dr. Richards has experience in empirically supported cognitive processing and exposure therapy for veterans, law enforcement and other trauma survivors with
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He received this specialized training and experience as a U.S. Air Force psychologist.
Dr. Richards has presented and provided multiple trainings at national and international conferences on the topic of OCD, generalized anxiety, health anxiety, PTSD and other anxiety disorders. He has provided training and supervision to
medical and mental health professionals including psychometric test technicians, psychology residents, nurses and physicians.
Dr. Richards is a member of the Oregon Psychological Association, International OCD Foundation and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
Dr. Richards is an Independent Practitioner.
Dr. Sara Vice
Dr. Sara Vice is an expert in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and other related disorders using evidence-based interventions. She specializes in treating children and adolescents. Dr. Vice completed her doctoral training at Xavier
University in Cincinnati, OH, with an emphasis in child psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the UC Davis CAARE Center in Sacramento, CA, where she also completed a specialized postdoctoral fellowship in evidence-based
assessment and treatment of PTSD and related concerns in children and adolescents. She has received extensive training in cognitive, behavioral, and exposure-based therapies. Dr. Vice is nationally certified in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
In addition to therapy, Dr. Vice conducts comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults with suspected developmental and learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral disorders. She has experience
in forensic evaluations for child protective services, including parental ability to benefit from services, bonding studies, and service recommendations. Dr. Vice also conducts psychological evaluations for civil lawsuits.
Dr. Vice has facilitated trainings on exposure, trauma-based interventions, sexual behavior concerns, commercial sexual exploitation, harm reduction, secondary traumatic stress, and other topics pertinent to the welfare of children and
adolescents. Dr. Vice is an active member of the American Psychological Association Section on Child Maltreatment, and she currently
serves as the newsletter editor.
Dr. Jill Davidson
Dr. Jill Davidson is an Oregon-licensed clinical psychologist, founder and co-director of both the Portland & Bend Anxiety Clinics.*
She is an expert in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders. Her practice is focused on providing effective and long-lasting treatment using the latest Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions.
Each course of therapy is tailored to the individual patient. She has an empathetic, collaborative style to create an environment of hope and possibility. Dr. Davidson works with children, adolescents, and adults. A unique component of
her practice is her willingness to work in the community and make home visits when clinically appropriate.
In addition to providing psychotherapy, Dr. Davidson provides comprehensive assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD and learning disability evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. She has facilitated
in-service trainings on OCD and related disorders at various counseling centers and conferences, provides training and supervision to graduate students in psychology, as well as to medical residents in psychiatry. She has multiple
national and international publications and presentations on related topics.
Dr. Davidson is a member of the American Psychological Association, International OCD Foundation, Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Oregon Psychological Association. She sits on the boards of the Oregon
Psychological Ethics Committee and is founding board member of the International OCD Foundation Oregon affiliate. She has earned a Behavior Therapy Training Institute Certification from The International OCD Foundation.
*Dr Davidson provides psychological services for the Bend Anxiety Clinic via telehealth.
Jodie is a Community-Based Skills Trainer at Portland Anxiety Clinic with a Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon State University. Jodie has worked in residential treatment, partial-hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults. She has advanced, specialized training in providing evidence-based care for patients experiencing depression, behavioral concerns, as well as OCD and related anxiety disorders. Jodie is skilled at meeting patients where they are at and engaging them in their treatment plan goals.
Jodie values the role of schools and parents in a child’s treatment plan and associated goals. As such, Jodie regularly consults with her patients’ primary therapist, parents, and school team, as needed.
