Dr. Jason Guy Richards

Clinical Psychologist & Director

Dr. Jason Guy Richards is an Oregon-licensed, clinical psychologist providing services at both the Bend and Portland Anxiety Clinics.

Dr. Richards is an expert in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and exposure therapies treating the full spectrum of anxiety and related disorders. He provides both community-based and in-home treatment as needed. His experience includes behavioral health interventions/consultations in primary care. Dr. Richards has experience in empirically supported cognitive processing and exposure therapy for veterans, law enforcement and other trauma survivors with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He received this specialized training and experience as a U.S. Air Force psychologist.

Dr. Richards has presented and provided multiple trainings at national and international conferences on the topic of OCD, generalized anxiety, health anxiety, PTSD and other anxiety disorders. He has provided training and supervision to medical and mental health professionals including psychometric test technicians, psychology residents, nurses and physicians.

Dr. Richards is a member of the Oregon Psychological Association, International OCD Foundation and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.

Dr. Richards is an Independent Practitioner.

Dr. Davidson - Bend Anxiety Clinic

Dr. Jill Davidson

Dr. Jill Davidson is an Oregon-licensed clinical psychologist, founder and co-director of both the Portland & Bend Anxiety Clinics.

She is an expert in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders. Her practice is focused on providing effective and long-lasting treatment using the latest Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions.

Each course of therapy is tailored to the individual patient. She has an empathetic, collaborative style to create an environment of hope and possibility. Dr. Davidson works with children, adolescents, and adults. A unique component of her practice is her willingness to work in the community and make home visits when clinically appropriate.

In addition to providing psychotherapy, Dr. Davidson provides comprehensive assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD and learning disability evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. She has facilitated in-service trainings on OCD and related disorders at various counseling centers and conferences, provides training and supervision to graduate students in psychology, as well as to medical residents in psychiatry. She has multiple national and international publications and presentations on related topics.

Dr. Davidson is a member of the American Psychological Association, International OCD Foundation, Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Oregon Psychological Association. She sits on the boards of the Oregon Psychological Ethics Committee and is founding board member of the International OCD Foundation Oregon affiliate. She has earned a Behavior Therapy Training Institute Certification from The International OCD Foundation.

Dr. Amber Valenkamph

Dr. Amber Valenkamph

Dr. Amber Valenkamph is an Oregon-licensed clinical psychologist at our Bend location.

While she specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents, Dr. Valenkamph also has extensive experience working with adults in a variety of settings. Utilizing a person-centered approach, she tailors each treatment program to the needs of the individual. With evidence-based interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) at the root of her approach, Dr. Valenkamph takes pride in delivering these interventions in a warm, playful, and compassionate manner.

In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Valenkamph provides psychological testing/assessment for a wide variety of presenting problems and concerns. She has extensive experience assessing children and adolescents for struggles related to symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Learning Disorders. She has also served as an expert witness in juvenile and family court on matters related to the effects of attachment disruptions, childhood trauma, and neglect.

Dr. Valenkamph received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. She is a member of the Oregon Psychological Association and the International OCD Foundation.
